Title IX Regulations – Review

After a U.S. District judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky issued a ruling striking down the 2024 Title IX Regulations nationwide, the Office for Civil Rights, under the U.S. Department of Education, issued a Dear Colleague Letter on February 4, 2024, confirming that the 2020 Title IX Regulations will be enforced. Accordingly, the revised 2024 board policies your district put in place are no longer valid and districts must apply the 2020 Title IX Regulations.
