Navigating the Interactive Process and Providing Reasonable Accommodations

This workshop will provide much needed information and practical guidance on how to conduct a legally compliant interactive process with the goal of identifying reasonable accommodations that meet the needs of employees without imposing undue hardship on an employer. We will discuss the common pitfalls that employers need to be aware of and how liability can be prevented, including when it is appropriate and useful to seek a fitness for duty examination during this process.
