Workplace Violence Protection Plan Workshop

Schools Legal Service and Lyle Martin, Chief of Police Bakersfield (ret.) will present an informative workshop covering SB 553 and the new requirement to create a Workplace Violence Protection Plan. Each District, by July 1, 2024, is required to create, implement, and train staff regarding their Workplace Violence Protection Plan.
This training will provide information on creating a team, evaluating and correcting workplace violence, communication and coordination, training, creating and maintaining incident logs and training records, and investigation in compliance with SB 553.
