Student Issues

SLS advises and represents clients in student discipline matters. We publish one of the most comprehensive student discipline manuals in the State. In addition to discipline issues, our attorneys represent districts in interdistrict transfer issues, student records/FERPA issues, student speech and 1st Amendment matters, student search and seizure questions, drug testing issues, and related matters. Regular training in the student discipline process is provided for administrators.
